DENVER SHIFT COMMANDER INJURED IN RESPONDING ROLLOVER CRASH

A Denver firefighter was injured in a rollover crash while responding to a call Thursday night.

The shift commander had his lights on siren on when his vehicle was struck by another car, KUSA-TV reports. The impact of the collision overturned the command vehicle, and the firefighter needed to be extricated.

 

 

 

The shift commander, who was not identified, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to the department. No details were released about the other driver.
