TREE FALLS ON PA RIG – TRAPS FIREFIGHTERS DURING STORM

According to a Facebook post from the Sigel Volunteer Fire Department, one of their own trucks had to be rescued on Thursday night, while crews were out assisting the community during the severe storm.

The post states that while Pumper 14 was traveling along Route 949 in Jefferson County, a tree fell and landed on top of the vehicle.

Thankfully none of the firefighters were injured and everyone was able to continue assisting the community with flooded basements, traffic control and other downed trees and wires.
