SERIOUS RESPONDING APPARATUS CRASH IN WILMINGTON, DE

Two people are seriously hurt after a fire truck and a minivan collided in Wilmington, Delaware, Saturday morning.

The crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of 8th and Adam streets.

Police say two people suffered nonlife-threatening injuries and are expected to be OK.

Both were taken to Christiana Hospital for treatment.

No firefighters were injured.

The vehicles sustained heavy damage.

So far, no word on the cause of the collision.
