A pregnant woman, firefighter, and another person have been injured after a crash involving three cars and a D.C. fire truck Friday afternoon in Northeast Washington.
Fire officials say both individuals are in critical condition, and the firefighter is injured in an unknown condition. All three were transported to MedStar Hospital.
According to D.C. Fire, a fire truck responding to a call had a green light, and also had the lights and sirens on when it “T-boned” a car. The driver of the T-boned car was trapped and had to be removed.
Officials say there was a pregnant woman on the street corner who was hit by a car involved in the collision.
The accident was reported on 12th and Rhode Island Avenue, NE.
