One person was injured in a crash involving a fire truck early Monday morning, Houston police said.
The crash was reported around 2 a.m. on the Southwest Freeway at Hillcroft. Police cleared the scene around 5 a.m.
KTRK reported that the crash happened after a suspected drunken driver hit another car, causing it to hit the back of a fire truck on the highway. The driver in the second car was pinned under the fire truck, according to KTRK.
The extent of that driver’s injuries is unknown, but they are expected to survive, police said.
