A tram and fire truck collided on the Gold Coast on Sunday morning, causing the G:Link service to derail but remain upright.
Emergency services responded to the incident about 7.40am at the intersection of Hamilton Avenue and Surfers Paradise Boulevard.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said paramedics have taken two people to Gold Coast University Hospital and another patient to Gold Coast Private Hospital, with all three in a stable condition.
Five police units also responded to the crash.
Trams were suspended between Cavill Avenue and Braodbeach South Station with replacement buses operating, but services returned to normal early on Sunday afternoon.
