In Colorado, 2 Firefighters were hospitalized and a civilian was flown out in a very odd crash after a road collapsed near the Pikes Peak International Raceway early this morning.
A person was driving over a culvert around 0230 hours when the road collapsed, and the car was stuck in the hole,
When firefighters from the Hanover Fire Department arrived, their truck was swept off the road, landing on top of the car and trapping the driver inside. A heavy rescue crew arrived to extract the truck and rescue the driver and three firefighters. Two Firefighters were hospitalized, and the driver was airlifted. Reports are all suffered serious injuries. More to follow.
