NEW JERSEY FIREFIGHTER KILLED WHILE TURNING OUT FOR A FIRE CALL-LODD

We regret to pass on to you, especially today, the Line of Duty Death of Mizpah (Atlantic County, near Atlantic City, NJ) Firefighter Natalie Dempsey, age 21.

Firefighter (and company Vice President) Natalie Dempsey was heading to a fire call in her personal vehicle when the crash occurred. The run was at around 0620 hours  and while responding, she lost control, went off the road and struck a guardrail. Firefighter Dempsey, who just turned 21 earlier this month, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was alone in the car.
Both Mizpah and Mays Landing Firefighters responded to the scene, along with the Township of Hamilton Rescue Squad.
Our sincere condolences to all those affected by this tragic loss. Rest In Peace.
